Toronto police warned Saturday evening of an active shooter at the Salsa on St. Clair festival, officials said.
Police said in a social media post shared at 8:20 p.m. that they had received reports of a shooting causing multiple injuries near St. Clair Ave. W. and Arlington Ave., the site of the festival.
Authorities are advising the public to stay away from the area.
