The White House Correspondents’ Dinner has been rescheduled for July 24, WHCA president Weijia Jiang announced Tuesday, months after a shooting disrupted the annual event in April.

“Rescheduling was not automatic. It was a choice that the WHCA board made after thoughtful consideration and input from our members,” Jiang said in a statement.

This is a developing story.
