President Trump announced Thursday he is appointing William J. Pulte, director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency and chairman of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, to serve as acting Director of National Intelligence. Pulte will retain his current housing finance roles during the period he serves as acting DNI.
