The Chelan-Douglas Health District confirmed Friday a case of Sin Nombre hantavirus in a Chelan County resident, marking a separate incident from the Andes hantavirus outbreak aboard the MV Hondius cruise ship earlier this month. Health officials say exposure likely occurred in or around the patient’s home, where mice have been found.
