Conformance
BDN’s website and iOS app target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. We test against this standard regularly and address issues as they’re found.
Features
- Keyboard-navigable interface throughout the website.
- Screen-reader-friendly semantic HTML and ARIA labels on interactive controls.
- Alt text on editorial photographs.
- Sufficient color contrast in both light and dark themes (the app defaults to a dark theme; the site auto-matches the user’s system preference).
- Resizable text without breaking layout.
- Captions on video reporting (when video is published).
Known issues
We track accessibility issues openly. As of this update, no major issues are open. If you encounter one, please report it using the contact below.
