BDN uses a small number of cookies. No advertising trackers, no cross-site profiling.
What cookies we set
- Session cookies (when you sign in): keep you logged in across pages. Expire when you sign out or close the browser.
- Comment cookies (when you comment): remember your name + email so you don’t have to retype them. Standard WordPress behavior. You can disable in your browser settings.
- Preference cookies: remember your theme choice, dismissed banners, etc. Long-lived but contain no personal data.
Third-party cookies
BDN does not embed third-party advertising trackers, social-media-share-button trackers, or analytics platforms that build cross-site profiles.
If we add basic, privacy-respecting analytics in the future (e.g. Plausible or self-hosted analytics that don’t use individual identifiers), we’ll update this page and the Privacy Policy.
Controlling cookies
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies via settings. Blocking session cookies will sign you out. Blocking preference cookies means we won’t remember your theme choice.
