Spurs beat Thunder in Game 7, head to NBA Finals against Knicks

OKLAHOMA CITY — The San Antonio Spurs beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 111-103 in Game 7 on Saturday night to reach the NBA Finals for the first time since 2014.

Victor Wembanyama led the Spurs with 22 points and 7 rebounds. Julian Champagnie added 20 points on six 3-pointers off the bench. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 35 points for the Thunder.

The Spurs trailed the series 3-2 before winning Game 6 by 27 at home Thursday and Game 7 on the road Saturday.

San Antonio will face the New York Knicks for the championship. Game 1 has not been scheduled.

The Spurs last won it all in 2014, when they beat the Miami Heat in five games.
